Introduction to Integrity Gateway for Legacy Users
Table of Contents
Our team would like to welcome all of our Legacy users to Integrity Gateway! As customers begin to transition, this article will help to guide users through some of the key improvements and new features we have built-in Integrity Gateway that were not available in Legacy.
Landing Page Features
- The first thing users will notice is the new look and feel of the Gateway landing page. The left navigation menu allows users to quickly maneuver around the Gateway more easily than ever before. Links within the navigation menu change depending on a user's roles & privileges.

- Our new comprehensive Gateway Guide is also located in the left navigation menu for all users. Easily searchable articles include detailed instructions, tips and tricks, FAQ's, and more. It is our hope that this resource will improve user experience and quickly help your users become more adept at navigating our platform. Monthly release notes are posted within the Gateway guide and detail feature releases and UI/UX improvements.

- Action Items are up front and center on the main landing page and include submissions, approvals, and tasks pending the user's action.

- Tasks are an entirely new feature with the Integrity Gateway. Users will now have the ability to create ad-hoc tasks outside of a request or create a task directly within a request. Our Complete Guide to Tasks includes detailed instructions on how this tool works.

Submitter Changes
- Support Categories is one of the biggest improvements we've made within the Integrity Gateway! Instead of creating the same support category for each recipient over and over, users now only have to create the support category once and assign as many recipients as they want to that category. We've outlined this process in our Gateway Guide for each request type with easy to follow, step-by-step instructions. To see how this process works for engage request types, see How to Submit a New Request for Consultant Engagements (HCP, GO, Patient) or see How to Submit a New Request to Provide Gifts, Travel, or Hospitality for Gift & Hospitality requests.
- Activity details are now on a separate page from support categories and recipients. This UI improvement should help users to better navigate throughout the different sections of a request.

- Users no longer need to click into the request and then into each recipient to get to the approval workflow. The approval flow is accessible by clicking in the Request Status from the submission, approvals, and admin views.

- Request statuses include new statuses and are color-coded for easier identification.
- In addition to the Action Items table, My Submissions, My Approvals and My Collaborations are now easier for users to navigate as tabs.

- Submitters can now easily save their work within requests by clicking on the Oval Icon in the top right-hand corner.

Approver Improvements
- All new Approver Collaboration allows an approver on a request to add additional approver(s) on requests as collaborators.
- Request status now shows Activity + Recipient approval flow all in the same view. See Request Status, Activity Status, & Recipient Status and Approver Flow for more information.

Aggregate Analysis
At a glance, our team has made several improvements to Aggregate Analysis functionality. Rather than displaying one recipient at a time, the new Aggregate Analysis table displays all the recipients of a request. Furthermore, the table displays the breakdown of each item (by support category) that is contributing to the overall amount totals.
Additional enhancements include:
- Threshold (count and amount) are no longer hidden in the back-end and, if configured for your organization, are listed in the Threshold column.
- Over Threshold? quickly flags any amounts or counts that might be over the set Threshold limits.
- For requests with many recipients, the table can be searched and or sorted by ascending/descending order.
- In Horizon, the summary table is shown as of today's date and includes aggregate data even if it's in Draft status. So as long as a recipient is added with an activity date and support category, the amount will be added to the total across all requests that include that same recipient.
For a full breakdown of this feature, please visit our Aggregate Analysis article.

Screening Upgrades
- Screening has its own tab within the request now. Instead of having to click on each recipient to view the screening matches, the user only needs to click the screening tab to view all of the screening results. See our section on Integration for complete articles on Screening.

- In addition to a Screening tab within a request, there is also a link to screening in the left navigation of the gateway. Here, users with screening privileges can use the Ad Hoc and Bulk screening features.

- Clicking the Screening link from the left navigation menu, takes a user to the screening page where users can now utilize our new Ad Hoc and Bulk Screening Features. Click here for Ad Hoc and Bulk Screening instructions for RDC or Refinitiv.
- When resolving screening matches, not only does the system now allow for the reviewer to add comments, but all actions taken on the screened entity or individual are tracked in the screening history.

User Experience Enhancements
- Instead of individual email reminders for each request, reminders are sent twice a week in a summary format. The summary email reminder includes all Submissions, Approvals, and Tasks that require action from a user.
- Request IDs now start with a 3 letter prefix that make them easy to identify the request type. (Example, ENG-000-001 is an Engage request, DNS-000-001 is a Donations and Sponsorship request).
- All new printing capabilities.
Additional Admin Functionality
- Master Data Management now allows admins to access, edit, and maintain their own master data for both Individuals and Organizations.
- Roles & Privileges: Privileges are set permissions within the system. Roles are groups of privileges. and the new User management role allows for a User Admin from your organization to easily add/remove or change roles and privileges for users as needed.
- Reassign submitter functionality allows admins to reassign the submitter on any request in Draft, In Progress, Update Pending, Approved, Approved with Conditions, or Recorded Status. Admins can use this functionality to assign requests to themselves as needed. (i.e. if a request needs to move forward but the submitter is out of the office)
- View All Requests now allows for admins to search by Request ID.
- New functionality now allows admins with the correct privilege(s) to Cancel In Progress Requests and/or Delete Draft Requests.
New Reporting Insights Dashboard
- The new Aging Approval Dashboard can help to identify approval steps that are stuck with an approver, exposing opportunities to improve the approval workflow.
