Definitions of Standard Master Data Fields (Organizations)

Below are the standard fields shown within Master Data → Organizations.
Note: These are all the fields that are displayed when editing or adding an organization. When viewing an organization only the completed fields will be displayed
| Type: | Description |

| Organization Type | Type of organization is required and must be chosen from the dropdown menu. Options are as follows: Advertising & promotion, Benefits, Building maintenance, Charitable or civic organization, Clinical research organization, Clinical trial costs, Co-branding or co-marketing partner, Construction, Consultant or professional services, Contract manufacturing organization, Contract sales organization, Courier, Customer, Customs broker, Depreciation & amortization, Distributor, Education & training, Facility Services, Financial services, Food services, Freight forwarder, Freight & shipping, Government agency or public authority, Government relations, Healthcare organizations, Insurance costs, Joint venture partner, Laboratory supplies, Labor expenses, Law firm, Leasing, Licenses & permits, Lobbyists, Logistics intermediaries and providers, Marketing services, Media agencies, Meet & greet assistance, Meeting planners, Messenger, Other, Other fees & expenses, Other licenses, Other outside services, Raw materials supplier, Recruitment costs, Regulatory costs, Regulatory consultant, Rentals, Research, Sales intermediaries or representatives, Security services, Software development and licenses, Strategic partner, Technology, Telecommunication services, Tender intermediaries, Transportation services, Travel agents, Travel & entertainment, Visas/work permits/ immigration, Wages & salaries, Warehousing, Waste management, Wholesaler. |

| Official Name | An organization's official name. |
| Registration Country | Country or countries in which an organization is registered. |
| Year Established | The year that the organization entered into business. |
| DUNS Number | Data Universal Numbering System managed by Dun & Bradstreet which assigns a unique numeric identifier, referred to as a "DUNS number" to a single business entity. |
| Is this a vendor? | Select checkbox if the organization is a vendor. |
| Product Description | If is this a vendor? = yes, then product description field is opened. |
| Is this a customer? | Select checkbox if the organization is a customer. If “is this a Vendor?” = yes, then this question is removed. |
| Is this a bank? | Select checkbox if the organization is a bank. |
| Bank Routing Number | If “is this a bank?” = yes, then this question is opened. |

| Add An Address |
Type is required and must be chosen from the dropdown menu. Options are as follows: Billing, Business, Contact, Home, Mailing, Other, Shipping. Multiple address can be added, if needed. The system will always take the last entered Business address as the organization's primary address. Country, Street 1, Street 2, City, State/Province, ZIP/Postal Code State field is only available when address country is United States or Canada. |

| Add a Website | Multiple websites can be added, if needed. |
| Government Details | Description |
|---|---|
| Is this state owned? | Select checkbox if the organization is state owned. |
| Is this a government entity? | Select checkbox if the entity is a government entity. |
| Health Care Organization Details: | Description |

| Is this a health care organization? | If “is this is a vendor?” = yes in contact details section, this question appears. |

| Note | Open text field for additional information. |
| ERP ID | ERP ID is shown for customers without MDM integration through Veeva or Reltio. ERP ID can be edited manually by a Master Data Admin with the edit_master_data privilege. |
| Tax ID | Tax Identification number. |
| Reltio ERP ID | Only shown for customers with MDM integration with Reltio. ID is auto populated if present in Reltio. Field is not editable by Master Data Admin. |
| Veeva ERP ID | Only shown for customers with MDM integration with Veeva. ID is auto populated if present in Veeva. Field is not editable by Master Data Admin. |
| Add Files | Allows user to add/remove uploaded files. Executable files or files larger than 50 megabytes cannot be uploaded. |
