- Market Research request type used to seek approval on conducting market research and/or approval for conducting market research with qualified Third-Parties.
Key Features
- Market Research requests only have one section that covers all the details of the intended market research. There is no recipient section in this request.
Things to Note
• Submitting
- Allows Business Users to document the objective, owner, and budget for the market research as well as any other related details necessary to seek approval from the appropriate stakeholders.
- Additional consultants can be added, even after the initial submission. Added consultants are still subject for review and approval based on the approval workflow configuration.
- Changes can be made after the request is approved. However, that will require the request to be re-approved by all approvers based on the workflow configuration.
- Initially selected approvers can not be changed at the time of re-submitting the activity or the consultants.
• Approving
- Approvers take one action on the entire request (unlike an Engage a Consultant request, where the Approvers take action on the activity and each recipient in separate steps).
- Approvers can approve or reject a request. Once the request is rejected, it moves into rejected status and can not be re-submitted.
- Approvers also have the ability to request for more information from the submitter on the activity and/or on individual consultants during the approval process. In such instances, the activity or consultant needs to be re-submitted by the submitter after the updates have been made. Depending on the approval workflow configuration, the request will go back to the same approver for review or the approval workflow can be initiated from the beginning.
