What does the "Email Address is Associated with Another Individual" error message mean?

We've added additional email validation to minimize user errors when individuals are created in a request. Submitters will see error messages if the email address entered is already associated with another individual in our system or invalid format. This will maintain data integrity by preventing users from creating duplicate profiles for individuals and entering valid email format.

If a submitter is creating a new recipient or third party and receives an error message that says, "This email address is already associated with another user," it means that the email address is already assigned to an Individual in Master Data.

            Two options exist:

            1.  Create the request using the existing party rather than creating a new one.
            2.  A master data admin can update master data if the email is incorrect or assigned to the wrong profile.
