            Currency Symbols Commas & Decimals

In 2024, Lextegrity standardized how currency values are displayed in the Integrity Gateway. This includes Approvals & Disclosures, Third-Party Management, and Compliance Monitoring.

            Currency Symbols

In order to reduce confusion between local currencies that use the dollar sign ($) as a currency symbol, the system displays all currency values with their respective currency code instead of a currency symbol (e.g., $, ¥, €, etc.).

For example, $5 is displayed as USD 5, or ¥ $120,000 will be displayed as JPY 120,000.

            Commas & Decimals

Currency values within the platform are automatically displayed with commas or periods between thousands and/or the dollar and cents, depending on the user’s set browser location.

For example, browsers set to the United States will display a currency as $10,000.00, whereas a browser set to Brazil will display 10.000,00.

Note: Total Spend Amounts are always rounded to the nearest dollar amount and displayed in the default currency.
