            Request Summary Dashboard tracks:

            • Request Value or Volume
            • Value or Volume by Activity Status
            • Value or Volume by Request & Activity Type
            • Value or Volume by Party Country & Request Type
            • Value or Volume by Submitter Country & Request Type
            • Value or Volume by Transaction Country & Request Type
            • Value or Volume by Submitter Function & Request Type
            • Requests Value or Volume by Type
            • Request & Activity Listing

            To switch between Value (amount/$$) and Volume (# of request), select from the Display Measure dropdown in the top left corner.

            Click the Hamburger Icon in the top right of the dashboard to apply filters to the data, such as:

            • Date
            • Request
            • Submitter
            • Activity
            • Party
            • Actor 
            Filter menu button.

            You can also use elements in the dashboard as filters. For example, you can click In Progress in the Volume by Activity Status chart to filter the entire dashboard. This means the charts on the dashboard will only display data on In Progress requests. 

            Note: to clear the filter, click In Progress again.

            Hovering over the Info Icon in the top left will show the last time Insights was updated.

            Request & Activity Listing 

            The Request & Activity Listing table includes requests in all statuses, except Draft. You can use the following additional filters for the Request & Activity Listing table:

            Filter Name Description
            View Activities?  Show or hide detail at the activity level.
            Top x Requests For performance reasons, the Top x Parties filter defaults to 1000. You can change the number of parties displayed as needed, but a large number can cause the dashboard to perform poorly. (Note: to change the number, enter the number of parties in the box, then hit Enter on your keyboard.)

            View Activities and Top x Requests filters for the Request and Activity Listing table.

            Click a request ID in the Request & Activity Listing table to see more options. You can load the request's details in a new tab by clicking View Request in Application in the pop-up.

            How do I export or download data from Reporting Insights?

            Several icons are located at the bottom of each dashboard. See more information on these options and how they work in the chart below.

            Icon Description
            Undo the last action. 
            Redo the last change you removed with the undo button.
            Reset the entire dashboard back to the default state.
            Not currently used, as all data refreshes run on a schedule.
            Pause updates to the dashboard. This is useful if there are a number of filters that you want to enter without the dashboard updating in between each. 
            When you pause update, the button changes to the resume button. Click the Resume button to apply any filters that were changed while updates were paused.
            Not currently used.
            Save or view custom views.  For example, if you need to routinely filter the Transaction Country to only Canada, you can apply that filter on the dashboard and then click this button to save it as a custom view. Then, you can set it as your default view, so, whenever you load the saved view in the dashboard, it is filtered to Canada by default. If you create multiple custom views, use this button to cycle between them. 

            Note: While Custom Views are a convenient way to save your filter and view settings for future use, they are not guaranteed to persist across future dashboard updates. We recommend using them as a helpful tool for short-term convenience rather than a permanent or critical workflow component.
            To ensure continuity, please consider documenting key filter selections to reference in the event that they need to be recreated.
            Download the dashboard in a variety of formats.
            Open the dashboard in Full Screen mode. Press Esc on your keyboard to exit full-screen mode.

            How Do I Export or Download Data From Reporting Insights?

            To download data, select Download at the bottom of the dashboard.

            Next, select Crosstab. 

            Depending on which dashboard you are viewing, there may be multiple options available to download data. Below is a table that maps the previous Export to the Crosstab to download.

            Once you select the Crosstab data (for example, Approvals Listing), select CSV as a format.
