Limits
Use Case
Implementing limits within the application allows companies to set threshold amounts based on company's policies and procedures. Limits can be set based on the type of support that is being provided, the location where the support is being provided, and/or type of organization or individual being provided support.
Key Features
- Provides business user full visibility into the threshold limits at the time of requesting approval to provide or receive a certain amount of support, as threshold limits are shown within the application for various support categories.
- Limits can be defined based on recipient type and location for different support categories.
- Limit amount can be defined in desired currency for each location.
A business user has the ability to select the location where the support will be provided. The system then pre-populates the threshold amount based on the local and the recipient type selected by the user. A user can then choose to enter a support amount above, below or equal to the threshold limit.

Things to Note
- The system supports up to four (4) limits for a support category, location, and recipient type combination.
- Clients are required to provide the limits in a specific template provided by Lextegrity.
- Limits are configured in the backend and can only be updated through the backend using engineering support.
Additional Configurations
- Approver groups can be triggered if the amount is either equal or higher to the threshold amount or if the amount is lower or equal to the threshold amount.
