Approving Requests for Live/Virtual Monitoring
An approver is a user who is responsible for reviewing the requests that are submitted for their review and then take an action on them. Approvers are in Approver Groups defined by your organization during the initial implementation process.
Note: The instructions below are meant as a general guideline only.
How to Access Requests Pending Your Approval
To access all requests that are pending your approval, select Compliance Monitoring from the left navigation pane or the corresponding tile on the right.

Next, click the tile for Live/Virtual Monitoring.

All requests pending your approval will be listed in the lower half of the screen. Under Recent Compliance Monitoring Activity click the Requests tab, then the Approvals tab.
Note: The list includes all past approvals. An approver can provide comments and then click Confirm to continue, and/or if the approver is in line to be the next approver for a request.

Once the approver is viewing the request the following approver actions are possible:
No Issue
If the approver has found no issue after reviewing the activity details, click on the Gray Icon containing three dots next to the Issue button and then select No Issue from the dropdown menu.

The No Issue modal will open. An approver can provide comments and click Confirm to mark the request as having no issue.

By clicking Confirm, the system will:
- Send an email to the submitter notifying them that the request has been reviewed and the status is No Issue.
- The request status will be changed to No Issue.
Issue
If an approver has determined that the request poses an issue, click on Issue button in the top right corner.

The Issue modal will open. An approver can provide comments, then click Confirm to continue.

By clicking Confirm in the Issue modal, the system will:
- Send an email to the submitter notifying them that the disclosure has been marked as an Issue.
- The request status will be moved to Issue.
Request Update
After reviewing the activity details, the approver can request an update from the submitter if they find that they need additional or updated information. Click on the Gray Icon containing three dots next to the Issue button and then select Request Update from the dropdown menu.

The Request Update modal will open. The approver is required to provide comments before they can click the Confirm button.

By clicking Confirm in the Request Update modal, the system will:
- Send an email to the submitter notifying them to update the request.
Note: The approver's comments are included in the email sent to the submitter and in the Request History.
