            Use Case

            • Gives business users capability to get a head start on an engagement by submitting the activity details for approval, without specifying the recipients and the type of support they will receive.

            Configurations/Things to Know

            • Standard configuration for multi-recipient request types (Engage a Consultant or Providing Gifts, Travel, or Hospitality) requires at least one recipient to be assigned to a support category before the request can be submitted. This configuration allows for multi-recipient request types to be submitted without support categories and recipients.
            • Can be configured by request type, but applies to all request of that type. (For example, can be configured for Engage requests, but not configured for Providing Gifts, Travel, or Hospitality requests. If configured for Engage requests, all requests of this type can be submitted without support categories or recipients.)
            • If configured, requests can be submitted with or without recipients.
            • If a recipient is added, a support category must be added in order to submit the request.
            • Once recipients are known, the submitter has the ability to update the request and resubmit for approval.
