Action Items Table
The Action Items table is displayed on the Gateway Landing page's main page. It displays all the submissions, approvals, and tasks that are pending action by the user.
Open action items can be defined as In Progress Tasks or Requests. Once these outstanding items have been actioned, they will no longer be included in the Action Items table.
Note: Updates to the Action Item table may appear up to 2 minutes after taking action. We suggest refreshing the page to see newly added items.

The Action Items table has four possible tabs: Submissions, Approvals, Campaigns, and/or Tasks.
| Category | Included | Not Included |
|---|---|---|
| Submissions |
- All In Progress requests that are in Update Pending. - Draft Campaign requests. |
- Editor collaborations - Draft requests |
| Approvals | All In Progress requests are awaiting approval from the user as either an approver or reviewer. | - Approver collaborators |
| Tasks | All In Progress Tasks and EDD. | |
| Campaigns | All pending Campaign requests are assigned to the user. Once a campaign request is saved as Draft, it is moved to the Submission tab. | -Draft Campaign requests |
Note: The tasks tab is privilege-based. To see the Task tab within the Action Items table, the user must have either Create Task, View Task Page, Edit All Tasks, and/or View all System Tasks privilege(s). If the user does not have one of these privileges, they will not see the Task tab on the Action Items table even if they are assigned to a pending task.

Tip: The number next to the tab title indicates the number of pending actions.
Note: Tabs with zero pending action items will be removed from the Action Items table until a new action item is added. If a user has zero action items on all three tabs, the table will display a message that says “No Pending Action Items.”

The Action Items table can be sorted ascending or descending by clicking the titles at the top of each column.

To see the detailed request status only, click on the Request Status in the last column.

Clicking on the Request ID will direct the user directly to the request.

FAQ
Why is the submission, approvals, or tasks tab missing from my Action Items? The tab is removed from the Action Items table if you have no pending actions. (For example, the approvals tab is removed from the table if you have no pending approvals.)
Why can't I see the task tab of the Actions Items table even though I have a task assigned to me? The tasks tab is privilege-based. To see the Task tab within the Action Items table, the user must have either Create Task, View Task Page, Edit All Tasks, and/or View all System Tasks privilege(s). If the user does not have one of these privileges, they will not see the Task tab on the Action Items table even if they are assigned to a pending task.
Why aren't the requests where I am a collaborator included in my Action Items table? Only the primary submitter or primary approver(s) will have the request on their Action Items table. Any requests where a user is either an editor collaborator or an approver collaborator will not be included.
I received an email to approve, but why is the request missing from my action items table? If the primary activity or any of the recipients are in an "Update Pending" state, the system sends reminders to the submitter instead of the approver. During this time, the request will not appear in the approver's Action Items table, and any existing approver reminders are removed. Once the activity and all recipients are ready for review, the system will add the request back to the approver's Action Items table and reinstate reminders for the approver.
It's my turn to approve multiple recipients, but why isn't this request in my Action Items table? If any of the recipients are waiting for an update from the submitter, the system will only add the request to the approver's action items table once all the recipients are ready for approval.
