How Do I Access Insights for Tasks?
If you have the View Insights privilege, you will see the Insights link in the left navigation menu.

On the Insights page, click the Tasks tile.

Tasks Dashboard tracks:
- Tasks by Category
- Tasks by Status
- Tasks by Due Date (In Progress Only)
- Task Listing

Click the Hamburger Icon in the top right of the dashboard to apply filters to the data, such as:
- Task ID
- Task Title
- Task Status
- Created Date
- Last Updated Date
- Due Date
- Completed Date
- Assignee
- Assignor
- Task Category
- Task Type
- Request ID
- Associated Party
Note: by default, draft and canceled tasks are excluded from the dashboard. You can include them by adjusting the Task Status filter.

You can also use elements in the dashboard as filters. For example, you can click Documentation in the Tasks by Due Date chart to filter the entire dashboard. This means the charts on the dashboard will only display data on Documentation requests.
Note: to clear the filter, click Documentation again.

In the Task Listing table, you can click a task or request ID to load the task or request's details in a new tab.

Save or view custom views. For example, if you need to routinely filter the Transaction Country to only Canada, you can apply that filter on the dashboard and then click this button to save it as a custom view. Then, you can set it as your default view, so, whenever you load the saved view in the dashboard, it is filtered to Canada by default. If you create multiple custom views, use this button to cycle between them. Note: While Custom Views are a convenient way to save your filter and view settings for future use, they are not guaranteed to persist across future dashboard updates. We recommend using them as a helpful tool for short-term convenience rather than a permanent or critical workflow component. To ensure continuity, please consider documenting key filter selections to reference in the event that they need to be recreated. |
