Recipient Search
Use Case
- Recipient search capability is used in the application to search for any existing recipient from the recipient master data. This allows the user to re-select any existing recipient and also pre-populate related information for the recipient.
- Using recipient search reduces the chances of duplicate recipients being created in the application and also allows for faster request creation.
- Recipient search ensures that the previously engaged recipients can be selected again for future engagements, allowing the system to present aggregate analysis results to the users.
Key Features
- Recipient search works like a Google search and is triggered with a single letter entry in the field.
- Maximum of 10 matching results are displayed at a time based on the searched string, with the capability to navigate between multiple search pages.
-
Additional attributes related to the recipients are displayed in the search results. These attributes are consistent and can not be changed by the tenant.

Things to Know / Configurations
- Recipient search can be configured to search an organization or an individual. However, it cannot be configured to search both organizations and individuals in a single request.
- Life Sciences customers also have the option to integrate with Veeva or Reltio (IQVIA). In such cases, the recipient search allows the user to search for an individual from the Veeva or Reltio database. If using Veeva or Reltio, users searching for organizations will have results returned from Master Data → Organizations.
- We do not offer integration with external MDM providers to get organization data. When searching for organizations within External Funding or Donations request types, results will always come from Lextegrity's master data.
- Recipient search also depends on the type of recipient that is being added in the request. Search results will always display all the recipients. However, the recipients that do not match the recipient type selected or are blocked by the master data admin, will be grayed out.
- Recipients can be unblocked or the type can be changed in the master data by the master data admin.
