            Selected Questions Response Trend Selected Question and Answer Pairs How do I export or download data from Reporting Insights?

            The Questionnaire Explorer visualizes questionnaire responses so analysts can review and consume data at the individual question-level. You can filter for specific responses to a question, then drill down to identify trends over time and view any associated requests. To further analyze the response data, you can download the questions and responses in the Selected Questions section as a crosstab .csv.

            The Questionnaire Explorer tracks:

            • Responses
            • Response volume 
            • Responses over time
            • Requests by response

            Click the Hamburger () Icon in the top right of the dashboard to apply filters to the data, such as request ID, request status, submission date, or submitter email.

            Selected Questions

            You can review responses to questionnaires in the Selected Questions section. When you load the Questionnaire Explorer for the first time, the Selected Questions section will be blank. To add questions and responses to the dashboard, click the Question Selector () button.

            In the Question Selector menu, click a question or response, then select Add to Question Set in the pop-up. You can use the “Request Type” and “Questionnaire” filters to narrow down the questions and responses or the “Question Search” and “Response Search” fields to search for specific text in a question or response.

            When you have finished selecting questions for review, close the Question Selector menu to see the response data. You can now click responses in the dashboard for further analysis (see details in the next sections of this article).

            Response Trend

            After choosing questions to analyze in the Selected Questions section, you can see the frequency of that response over time in the Response Trend graph. Click a response in the Selected Questions section, then click Select Response for Trend View in the pop-up.

            You will now see the response frequency by month in the Response Trend graph.

            You can clear the Response Trend graph by clicking the Clear Trending Chart () icon or simply selecting another response for trend view.

            Selected Question and Answer Pairs

            You can review all requests associated with a response in the Selected Question and Answer Pairs section. Click a response in the Selected Questions section, then click Add Question / Response to Request Criteria in the pop-up.

            You will now see a table of all requests with that response. Click a request in this table to see the complete questionnaire below the tables.

            How do I export or download data from Reporting Insights?

            Several icons are located at the bottom of each dashboard. See more information on these options and how they work in the chart below.

            Icon Description
            Undo the last action. 
            Redo the last change you removed with the undo button.
            Reset the entire dashboard back to the default state.
            Not currently used, as all data refreshes run on a schedule.
            Pause updates to the dashboard. This is useful if there are a number of filters that you want to enter without the dashboard updating in between each. 
            When you pause update, the button changes to the resume button. Click the Resume button to apply any filters that were changed while updates were paused.
            Not currently used.
            Save or view custom views.  For example, if you need to routinely filter the Transaction Country to only Canada, you can apply that filter on the dashboard and then click this button to save it as a custom view. Then, you can set it as your default view, so, whenever you load the saved view in the dashboard, it is filtered to Canada by default. If you create multiple custom views, use this button to cycle between them. 

            Note: While Custom Views are a convenient way to save your filter and view settings for future use, they are not guaranteed to persist across future dashboard updates. We recommend using them as a helpful tool for short-term convenience rather than a permanent or critical workflow component.
            To ensure continuity, please consider documenting key filter selections to reference in the event that they need to be recreated.
            Download the dashboard in a variety of formats.
            Open the dashboard in Full Screen mode. Press Esc on your keyboard to exit full-screen mode.

            How Do I Export or Download Data From Reporting Insights?

            To download data, select Download at the bottom of the dashboard.

            Next, select Crosstab. 

            Depending on which dashboard you are viewing, there may be multiple options available to download data. Check the following tables to see the crosstab to download for each dashboard. Once you select the Crosstab data (for example, Approvals Listing), select CSV as the format.
